Teaching God’s Way of Salvation to Children
Thank you for your interest in our Sunday School. The Lord Jesus said to let the little children come to Him, and not to hinder them. (Matthew 19:14) Our desire is to teach children God’s way of salvation.
We would be happy to pick up your children and bring them home again. Our Sunday School runs from 12:40 pm to 1:30 pm, each Sunday. Please contact us to arrange a ride.
A Typical Sunday School Day
First, there is a time of singing with all the children together. The songs reinforce the spiritual and moral lessons the children learn in their class. After singing, the children move to the classroom. The format is one teacher for the all the children.
The teacher then give an interactive lesson, with the children encouraged to ask questions and contribute their thoughts. There is usually a memory verse taught to the children.
End of Year Children's Program
There is a program, usually held the last Sunday of November or the first Sunday of December, where the children present something they have learned in Sunday School. All parents, grandparents, family and friends are invited to come watch the children recite verses, sing songs, act out skits, etc. Following the recital there is a lunch provided free of charge by the believers.
